Rovers Take Sharks to SAA National Club Champs

Sharks forwards Anton Bresler, Patrick Cilliers and Michael Rhodes have been included in the 25 man Jonsson College Rovers squad that will do duty at the SAA Club Rugby Championships in Stellenbosch next week.

The team which flies off to Cape Town today will be captained by Chris Jordaan and includes the experienced Rudi Keil and Sharks Under 21 midfielder Arno van Zyl.

Certainly with the likes of the experienced Jody Jenneker in the engine room, Wesley Dunlop the top point's scorer in the Premier Division this season and Neil de Bruin behind the pack and an impressive line up of loose forwards in Nico Claasen, Eric Ngoie and Kosie Haarhof all in the mix, the side looks a pretty useful unit.

Rovers kick off their campaign tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 11.30am on the Stellenbosch 'B' field against Oud Skoliere from Bethlehem who are making their debut at the tournament
