The top three Clubs from KZN and the Free State, together with two top Clubs from the Griffons Rugby Union, have started their central provinces club competition with the first two rounds having been played last week, Welkom Rovers and DBN Collegians the only unbeaten sides to date.

The eight teams have been divided into two sections and will each play 4 cross-pool matches. Section winners will then go through to a final.
