Robert du Preez Steps in for Crusaders

With Hugh Reece-Edwards having been recruited to The Sharks, Crusaders Rugby Club happy to announce that former Bulls, Natal and Springbok scrumhalf, Robert Du Preez, has been appointed as Head Coach.

Robert represented Natal 65 times, Northern Transvaal 78 times and played for the Springboks from 1992-1993. Robert was never the typical scrumhalf and his size normally set him apart from his competition. He started his career in 1982 and has played in 7 Currie Cup Finals. He also served a stint overseas with Imola Club in Italy.

With the rest of the coaching staff remaining the same (bar one or two additions), Goss & Balfe Crusaders are looking forward to a good season.

Practice at Crusaders starts on Monday 19 January at 6pm.
