FNB UKZN Impi and Amanzimtoti made their presence felt in the the second round of the Fidelity Security Premier Division competition with hard fought away wins over Nashua Crusaders and Varsity College respectively last Friday evening. Saders perhaps only have themselves to blame for their defeat when they decided to run the ball in the dying moments instead of going for the poles to draw the game, eventually going down 21-18 to the KZN students.

It was a special weekend for club rugby in KZN with the Kokstad Rugby Club, the oldest rugby club in the province celebrating their 125th Anniversary, and they certainly did it style. There can be no doubt about it, the East Griqualand rugby club has stood the test of time and has proved beyond any shadow of doubt that community rugby is the way to go and is unquestionably here to stay.
